The Academy of Martyr, Zakaria Abed, of the defense and self-defense forces in Afrin Canton in Afrin Province, graduated the third session of the Special Forces of the Defense and Self-Defense Forces.
The ceremony was attended by the joint president of the Executive Council, Osman Sheikh Issa, and a number of heads of bodies and fighters of the YPG and YPJ.
The third session of the Special Forces of the Defense and Self-Defense Forces was graduated where fifty fighters joined in the three-month course which they took ideological lessons about the concept of the democratic nation and the military lessons about martial arts and methods.
The ceremony began with a military parade by the Special Forces. Then the president of the Defense and Self-Defense Body, Bahjat Abdo talked to the graduators and who attended this session of the Special Forces of the Self-Defense Forces. Abdu condemned the attacks by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries on Afrin and al-Shahaba Cantons.
He pointed out that their shelling would not affect the people of the Afrin who resist because their resistance is ideological and philosophical resistance and their resistance came with the thought and philosophy of the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan. The graduates then offered military parade, including the martial arts and techniques they received during a training session.
It is worth mentioning that the course was named after the martyr, Mustafa Osman, who was martyred in Ain Dukna on 17 July.
