leadership of the women’s protection units(YPJ) Clara Raqqa, who participated in the battle for the liberation of Raqqa and the campaign of Qazab Euphrates, affirmed that YPJ played a major role in the battle against terrorists, calling for the numerous abuses that took place in Raqqa by calling on women, especially the women of Shankal. In the markets of slavery in Raqqa, and that the ideas were planted that women do not exist and have no value.
She also pointed out that the women’s protection units strongly participated in the liberation of the city and confirmed that their liberation would only be on their hands. This was based on the Fedayeen such as Shahida Suzdar, the Shahid Susan and Shahid Shefin who sacrificed themselves to achieve this great victory.
Clara also stressed that YPJ were protected by revenge against the 5,000-year-old thought of women and the recent demolition of an alleged empire and the achievement of justice between men and women. It also contributed to the establishment and rehabilitation of women to build a participatory society in which justice and equality are achieved.
She noted that Syrian Democratic Forces are opening the main roads in the city of Raqqa after liberation in cooperation with demining organizations and cleaning the city of mines in order to bring civilians into their homes in ways that secure their lives.
Syrian Democratic Forces also deployed on the roads and at the main entrances to the city, waiting for the internal security forces to receive the city after cleaning it.
