The Education Committee at Raqqa Civil Council distributed 350 school bags to first and second grade students in the northern school of Tal al-Saman. The school contains 850 students. Each bag includes 3 books, 6 pens and other school stationery.
This is a positive step to motivate students to come and stick to school.
The teacher Raad al-Ahmad said that the school needs more effort by the committee because there are shortcomings, especially as winter is beating doors and most windows and doors must be repaired and restored in addition to the restoration of blackboards.
Mr. Mohammed Al-Khalif, the school’s principal, thanked the Education Committee of the Civil Council for this positive step and called for more support for the students and the school.
It is worth mentioning that the Education Committee of seeks to distribute the fuel oil and greenhouses to all its affiliated schools.
