The Public Relations Office of the Syrian Democratic Forces held a meeting with the elders and dignitaries of the tribes in Sur region in Deir Al-Zour to discuss the situation of civilians, and to find urgent solutions to the problems experienced by the people of the region.
The meeting was attended by the co-president of Deir Al-Zour Civil Council, commanders of the Syrian Democratic Forces, elders and dignitaries of the tribes in addition to the people of the region.
The meeting began with a minute of silence for the souls of the martyrs.
During the meeting, there were welcomed words to the Syrian democratic forces, which in turn urged the people of the region to be sensitized to extremist ideas and encourage them to join the ranks of the Syrian Democratic Forces.
Lilwa Al-Abdullah, the spokeswoman of “Al-Jazeera storm” campaign, welcomed elders and tribal dignitaries in Deir Al-Zour.
She stressed that the goal of this campaign launched by the Syrian Democratic Forces which was to liberate southern Hasaka and east of Deir Al-Zour has achieved.
She also confirmed that the role of the tribes was great and constructive in helping and supporting the Syrian Democratic Forces, as well it led to return the people to their regions after the clearance of mines.
