The municipalities committee of Al Gharbia township in Hasaka province organized a clean-up campaign for the main pavement, the entrances and exits of the city.
Jihan Othman Khalil, the co-chair of the municipalities committee, said that the weather conditions in the last period had badly affected the city. Herbs had grown indiscriminately and the dirt had gathered, so the committee launched a clean-up campaign for the entrances of Hasaka city.
“The workers remove the intensive grass that prevent the growth of planted trees, block the vision of cars and give the city an inappropriate view,” she said.
The campaign began from Al-Sabbagh roundabout, which is the northern entrance to the city.
