Hasaka – The Council of martyrs’ families in Hasaka held a monthly meeting to discuss the council’s work, the obstacles which they face and listen to the families of martyrs, their problems and their suggestions. Hundreds of family members and families of martyrs attended the meeting.
The meeting started with a minute of silence in the memory of martyrs’ lives. Hassan al-Obeid a member of the council spoke, welcomed the attendees and blessed the victories of the Syrian democratic forces against the terrorist organization ISIS. He pointed out that these victories are the victories of the martyrs’ families and a gift for them. He stressed that the Council is working to provide all the necessary services to the families of martyrs according to the available possibilities, and strive to resolve their problems, to manage their situation and guarantee the future of their children.
After that the attendees discussed the methods of developing the work of the institution in order to achieve its goals and aspirations, as well as listened to some of the proposals submitted by the families.
At the end of the meeting they read the monthly report of the institution.
