SDF opens two training courses on heavy weapons and methods of searching and sweeping in Euphrates territory

News Center – The academy of Martyr Athro Al-Suryani which belong to the Syrian Democratic Forces in Euphrates territory opened yesterday a training course specialized in heavy weapons. The course was named after the martyr (Sizar Sryani) and included 32 fighters.

The Academy of martyr (Botan Turkman) opened its third course specialized in the methods of searching and sweeping. It was named after the martyr (Ali Jajan) and included 41 fighters.

The two training courses were opened with military ceremonies attended by the Commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces in Euphrates territory (Jamil Mazloum), fighters of SDF and Women’s Protection Units YPJ.

The opening ceremony of the two courses began with a minute of silence in the memory of the martyr’ lives.

The commander of the SDF in Euphrates territory, Jamil Mazloum delivered a speech in which he congratulated the fighters on the opening of their training course and pointed out to the importance of adhering to the rules of discipline and military regulations, stressing their main role in protecting the gains of the peoples of North and East Syria from any threats.

The two courses will continue two months and the fighters will receive theoretical and practical military training in how to use light, medium and heavy weapons, as well as fitness training and military tactics.

The opening ceremony of the two courses ended with the fighters’ performance of the military oath.
