Al-Raqqa – The Special Education Office of the Education and Learning Committee in al-Raqqa held a meeting with the presidency of the Education and Learning Authority in the self-administration in Northern and Eastern Syria, on Tuesday, to find organizational formula for the work of private educational institutes in the city of al-Raqqa and its countryside.

They issued a circular that organizes the work of the institutes and clarifying the system and conditions for obtaining the license. Al-Shami added that technical conditions have been set for licensing the institutes, such as the existence of suitable classrooms with educational tools and heavenly space and benefits in the building of the Institute. In addition to the presence of a teaching staff and specialized or the teacher should not be less than five years in the teaching of the subject, whereas the institute director should have a certificate of educational qualification.
Al-Shami pointed out that the decision prohibited granting of new licenses to primary education institutes. Closing the old ones and shortening them on the preparatory and secondary certificates. The statement of the financial value of the entire curriculum is as the following: preparatory certificate is 50000 SP, secondary certificate- scientific section is 80000 SP, and literary section is 70000 SP.
