Midea Center – A reconciliation meeting was held between Al-Buassaf and Al-Hanadi clans with the presence of the Executive Council co-presidency of the Autonomy Administration and the administrations of military and civilian councils of Raqqa, Kobane, Manbij and Qamishlo as well as horde of the region clans with their chieftains and dignitaries on Wednesday in Dabaa Ayaf village, southwestern of Tal Abyad.
The main reason of the dispute which lasted about eight months was due to an offensive behavior against the customs and traditions of Al-Hanadi clan and the society as well.
The Public Relations Bureau of both Democratic Syria Council and Syrian Democratic Forces along with the efforts exerted by both the Autonomy Administration and chieftain and dignitaries of the area clans were able to bring views of the both clans closer together and they succeeded in holding the reconciliation meeting.
A speech was delivered by Abdul Hamid Al-Mahbash, the co-chairman of the Executive Council in north and east of Syria, he praised the authenticity, the courage, and the dignity of the tents owners and thanked all civil and military administrations which contributed in resolving the conflict between the two clans.
He indicated that all what is happening among the people of the region is linked to foreign agendas that do not want good for the region, and he added that they will play a positive role in confronting such conflicts.
Hamdan al-Eid, The Deputy of the Executive Council co-presidency, delivered a speech in which he acclaimed their affiliations with customs and traditions that reflect the spirit of tolerance and amnesty, and on behalf of Al- Buassaf clan, he thanked all those who contributed in resolving this conflict.
He concluded by asking all the chieftains and dignitaries of the region to resolve all the social disputes so that love and peace can prevail throughout the region.
At the end of the meeting, dignitaries and members of the two clans shook hands according to the traditions and customs of reconciliation and thanked all those who participated and worked to resolve the dispute between them as well.
