Raqqa – Martyr Ahmed Al-Ali Academy for Self-Defense forces ended on Wednesday the second part of the second training course. The course carried the name of the martyr Kawa Hasan and the military ceremony took place at the academy’s headquarters.
The course included 306 fighters and within 30 days the fighters received cultural, political and military lessons.
The ceremony, which was attended by the leaders of the Military Council of Raqqa and the Civil Council of Raqqa, began with a minute of silence in the memory of the martyrs’ lives, followed by a speech by the vice co-chair of the Defense Office, Samira Al-Ahmad, who welcomed the attendees and blessed the new graduated fighters. She stressed the readiness of the graduated fighters to preserve the gains and values for which the martyrs fought.
In the end, she wished success for fighters in the path they chose to protect the land and dignity.
The ceremony ended with the performance of the military oath.
