NEWS DESK- People Protection Units (YPG) stated in a statement that the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries are still violating and attacking Rojava, and YPG respond to these attacks as these attacks inflicted people’s possessions serious damage.
YPG media center released a statement and disclosed the outcome of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries’ attacks during the last 5 days.:
The Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries continue violating and attacking Rojava, the Turkish occupation army uses “technics” in its attacks on Afrin, and our forces’ resistance foils all the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries’ plans.
The Turkish attacks’ outcome during the last five days is:
“In July 18, the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries launched fierce attacks with heavy weapons “Obis” and mortars on Ayn Daqnah, Minag and Baylon, they also set fire to the fields. This attack resulted in martyring a fighter in the ranks of self-protection forces. The mercenaries also launched attacks on Maranaz, Alqamiyah, Malkiyah and Baradat al-Malkiyah using mortars and Dushkas. On the same day, the mercenaries launched attacks on Qastal Jando front with Katyusha rockets. The mercenaries launched an attack on Bashamra village in Sherawa district in Afrin with mortars, and on the same day, they attacked Tel Şehîd Şêlan, Tel Iska, Tel Şehîd Adnan in Janders district in Afrin using Dushkas.
In July 19, the mercenaries launched an attack on Basofan village in Sherawa and Tel Baz, Tel Iska and Tel Barin in Janders district in Afrin with mortars. The mercenaries also attacked Tel Barfin in Janders with RBG, and they attacked Ayn Daqneh with mortars and Dushkas.
In July 20, the mercenaries attacked Maranaz with tanks. They also attacked Bashamra and Basofan villages in Sherawa and Tel Baz and Tel Barin in Janders district in Afrin with mortars. On the other hand, our units targeted the mercenaries who were getting ready to launch an attack on Tel Şehîd Şêlan front with Dushkas while the number of the killed and wounded in the ranks of the mercenaries is unknown.
In July 21, our forces targeted the mercenaries who were getting ready to launch an attack on Qastal Jando front with mortars, and in a result, one of the mercenaries was killed. The number of the killed and injured in the ranks of the mercenaries is expected to be higher, but certain information about that is unavailable.
In July 22, the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries bombarded Ayn Daqnah with mortars, Obis cannons, Katyushas and tanks. They also launched attacks on Maranaz and Basofan using mortars. On the other hand, our units found the body of one of the mercenaries in one of Ayn Daqneh fields. Moreover, the number of the mercenaries’ bodies that were kept at our fighters hands increased to 10 bodies.
All these attacks inflicted the people’s possessions and fields serious damage, and also have risking lives of the people of the region.”
