Regions of Al-jazeera territory

Al-jazeera territory according to the administrative division law of the northern democratic federation of the northern Syria contains of two cantons, Qamishlo and Hasaka, which they contain six major regions.

According to the administrative division law of the northern democratic federation of the northern Syria, which was ratified during the general session of the democratic federation, and which held on 27-28 July in Rmilan town, federation consists of three main territories (Al-jazeera, the Euphrates and the Afrin). Each territory consists of two cantons which contain several regions.

Al-Hasaka:

It consists of four regions: Al Hasaka, Siri Kania, Derbasiya and Tal-Tamar.

Al-Hassakeh area, including Al-Hasaka city center, towns, villages and farms of the center in addition to the following areas:

1- Al-Shadada area.

2 – Arisha area.

3 – Al-Hul area.

Qamishlo:

It contains two regions, Qamishlo and Derek.

Qamishlo includes the city center, towns,, villages and farms, in addition to the following:

  1. Amude area.

2 – Terpespia area.

3 – Tal Hamis area.

4 – Tal Barak area.

Derrick:

Ii includs Derek city center, towns, villages and farms, in addition to the following:

1 – Gerke Lakeh area.

2 – Tal Kujar area.

  1. Jel Agha area.
