RMCO cleans large area of mine in Ain Issa
The RMCO Organization of Demining in Ain Aissa has been carrying out its campaign for 3 days to clear mines in some areas. Since its launch, the RMCO has cleaned approximately 3,400 square meters of explosive materials and dismantled more than 160 mines.
In coordination and cooperation with the Raqqa Civil Council and the Internal Security Forces, the engineering teams of the Roj organization in the Ain Issa area began on 20 April at the request of the residents in the southern neighborhood of the area, in which the search is conducted for the safety of civilians.
The organization has been carrying out its campaign for 3 days. So far, the organization has managed to clean up an area of 3,400 square meters, removed 163 locally made mines and found a number of warehouses used to manufacture, in addition to store explosive materials and mines by the mercenaries.
In this context, an administrator at RMCO confirmed that they had dismantled 163 mines so far, and would later collect them in a place far from civilians to demining them.
He also said that they work in coordination and cooperation with the Raqqa Civil Council and the Internal Security Forces, and was followed up their work by supervisors from the International coalition, who thanked the Organization for their efforts in the service of people.
As he explained that they had discovered other sites where the mines were located in the area of Ain Issa and that they were continuing with their actions until the entire area of the mine was cleaned to keep the danger away from civilians.
