Statement of General Command of Syrian Democratic Forces regarding confluence of two wings

During 66 days of fierce fighting, difficult confrontations and violent clashes that the fighters of SDF fought against mercenaries daesh inside Raqqa alleged capital which daesh, despite all the fortifications and all mines planted in addition to their bomb cars and bombers fighters, our fighters today liberated Nazla Shehadeh and Hisham bin Abdul Malik neighborhood in South of the city after the fighters from the eastern wing meet with the fighters from the western wing, so screws is narrowed on a mercenaries inside the city.

The General Command of the Syrian Democratic Forces issued a statement regarding the confluence of wings of the eastern and western campaigns with each other south of Raqqa.

The statement was read during a press conference in Raqqa in the presence of the commander in SDF (Rojda Felat), and the commanders of the first batch of SDF, in addition to the fighters from the east and west wing who since 66 days continue liberating campaign without interruption until both wings meet with each other, and Rojda Felat read the statement.

“The campaign to liberate the city of Raqqa left behind 66 days, which started with two wings, the eastern and the western. 12 neighborhoods have been liberated so far, and today afternoon, the fighters liberated Nazla Shehadeh and Hisham bin Abdul Malik neighborhood in the south of the city”.

“The liberation of these two neighborhoods is a powerful hit to the mercenaries, which is a great victory for us, so all the outlets where mercenaries were moving were blocked”.

Rojda also noted that during the liberation of the neighborhoods, the fighters liberated more than 600 civilians, provided them with all necessary necessities, and reached them to the safe areas.

Rojda Felat concluded by congratulating the martyrs of the campaign, the wounded, and all the fighters on the front lines who attack despite all the difficulties they face.
