Displaced persons fleeing from the conflict zones in Hama countryside continue suffer from the battles between regime’s forces and ISIS organize terrorist, especially in the Wadi Atheeb area, where thousands of stories of fleeing civilians have come to Ain Issa camp for safety.
Qutat al-Fandi: 67 years old from the village of Al-Tanhah in Hama countrytside (Aqirbat), who spoke about his suffering in the circumstances of war and continued displacement, he said :
“I escape from the regime shelling and fell in the grip of ISIS and imprisoned for two months when my father and my family stayed in the open, and the reason for my prison is that my wife does not wear the niqab (veil).
When the regime took control of Palmyra,ISIS transferred us to Raqqa city and they imprisoned me in al-Hesba (police) prison in the Rumaila neighborhood. When Syrian Democratic Forces advanced and liberated us, I went to the village of al-Raqqa al-Samraa and they gave us all that we needed. Today I live in ‘Ain Issa camp, which I consider it safe haven for all people.
