Education Committee: a meeting to discuss the process of education in rural Raqqa
The Education Committee of the Civil Council of Raqqa held a meeting at the headquarters of the Syrian Democratic Council on Tuesday 3/10/2017 to discuss the progress of the educational process and find solutions to the difficulties facing them.
The meeting was chaired by Abdul Fattah al-Aker and Fatima Bouzan, co-chair of the Education Committee of the Civil Council.
The meeting discussed the equipment and the work carried out by the Education Committee and set the basis for the improvement of education after the absence and suffering of seven years of extreme intellectual terrorism by mercenaries. This meeting discussed the difficulties and obstacles that stand in the face of the educational process and the need to address obstacles Study.
The meeting also tackled the rapid rehabilitation of damaged schools, the rehabilitation of the infrastructure of educational establishments, the discussion of the assimilation of the numbers of students for the preparatory stages (preparatory, primary, preparatory and secondary), determining the ages of the educational stages and developing plans to study the information of students aged 12 and above.
It was also decided to set the class hour equally in schools consisting of two groups, determining the working days, showing the weekly holidays, anniversaries, holidays and official events, and determining the academic year by 4 months for each semester, with an additional 15 daysً.
At the end of the meeting, the Committee’s weekly meeting was scheduled to be held every Thursday, and the joint presidency of all the workers in the education system wished to join hands and stand very hard to advance the educational process.
