The People’s Assembly in Khediran village organized a speech festival on the occasion of the liberation of Raqqa. The meeting was attended by the members of the Civil Council, the General Command of the Syrian Democratic Forces, tribal dignitaries and social and popular actors from the region.
The meeting began to stand a silence minute on the lives of Shahid, and punctuated the ceremony to throw some words.
Where Mohammed Al-Aboud, the joint chairman of the People’s Assembly in Khediran village and rural areas, gave a speech in which he spoke about the services provided by the People’s Assembly in Khediran about the problems and difficulties experienced by the Council and the lack of aid in the village.
Then Ibrahim al-Faraj spoke on the name of the Civil Council of Raqqa confirmed that “we stand with our people in the village of Khediran and its countryside and reassure our people in the south-west region and tell you that “every inch liberated by the Syrian Democratic forces will not hand over to any party.”
Speaking on the name of Syrian Democratic Council, Omar Alloush said: “This umbrella of the Syrian Democratic Council includes all Syrians in the north of Syria, which is responsible for the development of political plans in the next phase.”
Alloush stressed the unity of Syria in all its components and rejection of foreign interference and the tyrannical regime in the region. He noted that Syria will remain united but within a decentralized federal system.
The festival ended with a concert in which everyone participated in the celebration of the liberation of Raqqa and the start of its reconstruction phase.
