Mazen: I was blinded by a bullet that betrayed me
The nightmare of an impending organization(Dahish) is nearing completion, but its tragedies and violations against the people of the areas it controls do not end, and the wounds left by it will remain bloody.
Mazen Maeouf al-Hussein, 11, from the town of Albu Kamal in the eastern village of Deir al-Zour, a child in his early childhood, lost his sight because of the shells that had rained on his city before taking control of it in 2014.
The tragedy of this child began when he was in his house looking for the future and carrying in his heart the hope of achieving his goals in life. He exercised his right to play and enjoyed his life. Like any child in the city of Albu Kamal, he is indifferent to the battles that have taken place.
As Mazen was playing with his cousin in the street, shells and the bullets of the forces of darkness and terrorist tyranny came to the ground. One of the bullets hit the body of his cousin, who died instantly and was shot in the head and lost consciousness.
