Raqqa Civil Council: Securing new job opportunities for youth through
The problems of life continue to increase with the heavy burden on young people looking for life and starting out with all its vigor, especially during the period when the organization of i ISIS dominated Raqqa city ,where the youth of Raqqa suffered a lot because of the practices of this barbaric organization against them, Except on his way or what he calls the workers’ office to employ them in works that serve his interests.
In the endeavor of Raqqa Civil Council to help find urgent solutions and to create new jobs for young people, which since its inception was focused on young age groups where the youth headed many committees such as the Committee of Education and the Committee on Information and others
The operating office at Raqqa Civil Council was created in order to create new employment opportunities for youth and for those interested in working from different age groups.
In a visit, we met with the Joint President Helen Ahmed Ismail, where she talked about the mechanism of work of the Office, saying: The applications are accepted brotherhood citizens and young people, especially depending on the expertise and skills they have in addition to the certificates they hold and each person is employed according to his specialty.
Through us, young people are employed in various sections and committees of the Civil Council as well as humanitarian organizations that ask us to provide them with those who want to work with them.
The number of applicants has reached 1,140 young men and women, most of whom hold university degrees from various fields (medicine, pharmacy, law, engineering, languages, and graduates of the faculties of arts)
Those who do not hold certificates are required to accept the experience, capabilities and previous skills in addition to the approximately 83 cars registered within the work program of the office to work as a rented car that the owners want to participate in the service of the Civil Council.
Helen has confirmed that 49 young men and women were hired and 20 other people have been recruited to the Reconstruction Committee of the Civil Council.
As for the priority in employment was for the families of the martyrs who died in the liberation battles of Raqqa or during their humanitarian work in any field to serve the citizens.
Head of the operating Office Helen Ismail said that they are working hard to meet the requirements of the citizens. The office seeks to secure suitable employment opportunities for young people who wish to work, both according to their expertise and competence.
