Tabqa Youth Council organizes a race for authentic Arabian horses
Tabqa Youth Council organized a race for the Arabian horses in the village of Ja’bar north of Tabqa. The event was attended by a number of members of the civil administration of Tabqa and some of the leadership of the Syrian Democratic Forces and a large number of Tabqa people and its countryside.
The event was attended by a number of cavalrymen from Tabqa and Raqqa. The event started with a minute of silence in commemoration of the martyrs’ lives. The race, which included two pairs, began at 1200 meters for the pony and 1500 meters for the horses.
During the event, the words were given by Roshan Hami, in the name of the Democratic Civil Administration of Tabqa, in which the Arab horses in the region are known for their beauty, grace and speed. Most of the countries in the world have always sought to acquire these horses. Arabian horses are a source of pride for all peoples. The race is based on other activities such as the previous activities of the Civil Administration and the Syrian Democratic Forces in the region.
As the contestant Mohammed Ahmed Al-Zaher, who participated in the race, told us that this event is a great joy for us as horses and that all the participants in the race with their highest spirits as the first horse racing activity in Tabqa.
As the race ended with two rounds, the winners were honored.
