Ain Issa camp was filled with people displaced from the scourge of war. With the help of Raqqa Civil Council, which coordinated with the organizations, the camp became a small city full of life and hope.
In a meeting with Jalal Ayaf, the joint administration of the Ain Issa camp, he briefed us on all assistance to the refugees.
Jalal Ayaf: We coordinated with Raqqa Civil Council to vaccinate the camp with insecticides and put medicines to reduce insects and harmful animals. We will repeat this every fifteen days. The administration distributed gas cylinders to each tent. The administration worked through the organizations to treat chronic diseases and vaccinate the newly admitted children. Special clinics and surgery are opened, and the camp pharmacy receives regular and frequent payments of medication to help the refugees. Every day the camp distributes free bread to the refugees.
He added: We continue to employ refugees inside the camp cleaning and other occupations, and each month we employ 235 workers , and we in the fourth month to employ workers outside the camp to do agricultural work in coordination with the People’s House.
Al-Ayaf concluded by appealing to the international community and humanitarian organizations to help the refugees with food baskets and special cash payments that the people in the camp are coming to the month of Ramadan.
