People’s municipality in Raqqa removes soil berms of Daesh
People’s municipality in Raqqa city, in coordination with the Internal Security Forces, removes the soil berms established by Daesh on the public roads, the entrances to the city and its secondary streets.
People’s municipality in Raqqa city began today to remove these berms despite the weakness of their capabilities and lack of available mechanisms.
Ahmed Ibrahim, the joint head of the People’s municipality, pointed out that the process of removing these berms inside and at the entrance to the city is fraught with danger because it may contain mines planted by Daesh.
He added: “So we coordinate with the Internal Security Forces to ensure the absence of berms of mines, and if there are specialized teams dismantled, and then we remove these berms and reopen the roads and entrances of the city.
