Repair of Ja’aber water pumping station

Tabqa – Maintenance workshops of Water Establishment in Tabqa city started to repair Ja’aber water pumping station, repair the valve and replace the power cable with a new power one, the station has been out of service for almost a month, leading to faults in pump, valve and the well was sealed and the water was cut off from 15 villages.

 The station is prone to failures again because of the continued shortage of water. This is confirmed by “Mohammed al-Askar,” a Mechanical Officer in the Water Establishment and they are working on the extension of horizontal water lines and delivery to the lake to deliver water to the pumping station Ja’bar instead of wells, the station provides water to the villages of Al-Mahmudli, Hadaj, Al-Hurriya, Bukhmis and others villages, in addition to irrigate a thousands of olive trees.
