Young Women’s Union of the Raqqa Youth Council and its suburbs in coordination with the Kurdish Red Crescent opened women’s nursing courses.
Administrative in Union of Young Women in Raqqa “Manal al-Thaweeb” speaking about this activity “The goal of this nursing course is to teach women first aid (open vein, needle injection and stitching wounds). We have received 16 female trainees at our first course after a large turnout of women on this the course and of different ages.
Al-Thaweeb noted that the duration of the course is related to the appropriate experience through which the trainees are subject to a practical-theoretical test that gives a recognized professional diploma in all areas of the Syrian North.
Al-Thaweeb concluded that the main purpose of these activities is that everyone has an effective role to serve society.
