Village from my Country

Hasakah -Al-Anqzi is located west of Hasakah, about 15 km away. It is named after the fork of the Ankz tree, which dates back to the fifties of the last century.

It is bordered by a number of small villages: Al Jdeja, Basha, Jarbou ‘and Debs.

It has a population of about 1500 people, from different clans (AL-Bakara,AL-Maamra and AL-Sharpeen). Its inhabitants work in agriculture and raising livestock.

There are a large number of teachers, doctors and lawyers and that due to the high level of education in the village.

It is one of the villages that the terrorist groups have not been able to enter because of their families’ solidarity with each other and the resistance of their youth, and many of them joined SDF ranks.

In which Komin and a number of local councils that worked to provide the essential needs of the people and the restoration of the school and the roads that are leading to the village.
