Launching a “Humanitarian” Project to Help the Poor Families
Raqqa – Due to the difficult living conditions and the poverty situation in Raqqa city as a result of the war and the destruction of the city, the Relief Office team in Raqqa Civil Council launched a project “for humanity” to help 1000 poor families.
The project will seek to provide employment opportunities for affected families who need help, and provide food and health assistance, and register and secure the poor families’ sons in the employment office of Raqqa Civil Council.
The head of the relief office in Raqqa Civil Council, Ghafran Al-Ahmad, talked about this project and confirmed that it included the census and evaluation of 1,000 poor families in Raqqa city. The work was done on counting the families through the city councils, then the aid will be provided.
Relief Office works in coordination with the Employment Office to find jobs for these families ‘sons, and give them advantage to other young people, who exceeded the number of hundreds of those looking for work in the difficult conditions that are experienced by the city.
It is worth to mention that the relief office will ahead to the countryside to complete its project which launched in the city and Counting the poor families in the countryside.
