News center – The Commandos Academy of The Syrian Democratic Forces in Euphrates Region ended its third training course. The course was named after the martyr “Delovan Manbaj”. Leaders of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Women’s Protection Units YPJ and the international coalition forces attended the military ceremony.
The ceremony began with a minute of silence in the memory of martyrs’ lives and included 105 fighters.
The leader of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Jamil Mazloum, delivered a speech in which he congratulated the fighters for ending their training course. He pointed to the role played by their forces, especially the Special Forces fighters, in defeating and fighting the terrorists in north and east Syria. He also pointed to the importance of concentrating on the discipline of the training and being ready all the time to manage and deal with every situation and crisis. At the end he commemorated the martyrs of the Syrian Democratic Forces who sacrificed themselves for the liberation of the region’s components from the terrorism and worked hart for stabilizing the area and make it more secure.
During the three-month training course, the fighters received military training in intrusion and raids techniques, as well as physical fitness training, military applications, military tactics and martial arts.
The ceremony ended with the performance of the military oath, followed by the presentation of live combat panels and a review of individual combat skills.
