Raqqa – The Academy of Martyr Mohammed Al-Ali ended on Thursday, the sixth training course of the Self-Defense Forces, carried the name of the martyr Kawa Hassan and included 310 fighters from Tabqa and its countryside.
ring the 30-day course, the fighters received cultural and theoretical lessons and both theoretical and practical military training.
The graduation ceremonies included the announcement of the demobilization of the first session which included 210 fighters.
The session, which was attended by leaders the Military Council of Raqqa, the Civil Council of Raqqa and parents of demobilized and graduated fighters, they stand a minute of silence in the memory of the martyrs’ lives, followed by a military parade by self-defense fighters.
The co-chair of the self-defense office Hakki Afrin delivered a speech in which he welcomed the guests and blessed the fighters for ending their training course, stressing that the duty of self-defense is a humanitarian and national duty.
It is worth mentioning that the course was a special exception for the youth of Raqqa city, which lasted for six months.
