Set up road and traffic signs in Raqqa
Raqqa – The Future Workers’ Group in Raqqa is working to set up several traffic signs and a number of artificial pitfalls in the busiest streets in order to raise awareness of traffic safety and ensure maximum protection for citizens in the city.
Field supervisor of the traffic safety project of the future makers team Mohamed Darbok confirmed the coordination of the work with the Traffic Police Department and the People’s Municipality and said: “We installed the signs on the outskirts of the city and inside it; Tal Abyad street and February 23 for their heavy traffic and plastic pitfalls and screws will be installed at dangerous intersections, hospitals and schools to avoid possible traffic accidents. ”
We also coordinated with the General Traffic Department to install traffic signs with the People’s Municipality for the road signification within the city, “added Darbouk.
130 traffic and warning signs, 27 road marks, plastic pitfalls of approximately 480 meters and around 2800 reflective light nails will be installed in front of the plastic pitfalls on Tal Abyad and 23 February street.
Roadwork works are part of a campaign launched by the Municipality to asphalt the main streets after the completion of drainage and installation of road signs.
