The Academy of Martyr Khaled Alawi ends its 12th course
Tabqa – The Academy of the Democratic Society in Tabqa, ended its 12th course on Thursday, which included 23 trainees from different institutions of the civil administration and it carried the name of the martyr Mahmoud Jarniya. The representatives of civil and military committees and institutions attended the ceremony.
The graduation ceremonies began with a minute of silence in the memory of the martyrs’ lives, followed by a speech by the director of Martyr Khalid Alawi Academy, Firas Rashou, in which he congratulated the trainees for ending their course. The aim of the course is to spread awareness and raise the moral values of society.
Rashou pointed out that the intellectual revolution is the basis for the success and implementation of the democratic nation’s project, which depends on the coexistence of different cultures, religions, and nationalities to end the nation-state model.
In her turn, the Co-Chair of the School Committee of the Sports Union of Tabqa city Shaza Al -Ali, one of the members of the who joined the course, pointed out that the main reason for her participation in the course is: self-development from both the intellectual and vocational sides and application of what she learned within the academy in working life to build an ethical and political society based on democratic principles and brotherhood of peoples, and equality between women and men.
The graduation ceremony ended with honoring the participants.
During the one-month course, trainees received intellectual, historical, vocational and cultural lessons.
