The administration of Tabqa city continues to move the residents of Al-Tuwaheina camp to Al-Mahmoudli camp
Tabqa – The Social Affairs and Labor Committee of the Civil Administration of Tabqa city continues to transfer the residents of Al-Tuwaheina camp to Al-Mahmoudli camp after it has been equipped with tents, medical facilities, mobile clinics, children’s education centers and play areas for children.
Al-Mahomudli camp receives an average of 60 families per day, with a total capacity of 1680 tents, which can be expanded when needed. Where the number of families coming to the camp so far / 666 / mostly from the villages of Hama and Homs.
This work comes within the framework of the plan set by the administration to alleviate the suffering of the displaced. The camp was equipped with logistical supplies and the ground was paved, the tents were organized and divided into squares (blocks).
In this context, toilets were allocated for every 20 tents, as well as drinking water tanks, medical facilities, sewage networks, rainwater drainage and a solar electricity network to illuminate the camp were established.
“The camp was equipped with children’s education centers in two stages: literacy and basic education, as well as three health facilities with an ambulance available 24 hours a day” the camp supervisor Abd Al Hadi Al Abd said.
He added that a food basket is distributed to each family that reaches the camp until everyone is transferred to provide all the supplies
It should be noted that the Internal Security Forces oversees the protection and security of the tents, as well as the organization of visits.
