The activities of the forum, which was attended by a number of leaders of the SDF, tribal elders, and prominent political figures, began with a minute of silence in the memory of the martyr’s lives.

The leader of the SDF Jamil Mazloum delivered a speech in which he welcomed the attendees, and referred to the Turkish threats, pointing out that the world did not help the people of northern Syria who destroyed the ISIS terrorist organization, noting that they are preparing their measures to participate in the protection of a unified Syria.

Hassan Mohammed Ali, a member of the political body in the Syrian Democratic Council, stressed the necessity of uniting the peoples of the region and praised the role of tribal sheikhs in joining forces and cohesion of peoples, pointing out that “Turkey is seeking to occupy the region and return the illusions of the Osomanian Empire on the pretext that it helps the people of the region, thinking that we have forgotten their occupation and how they divided us for four centuries. He added that the new phase has new security and political challenges and we have been able to overcome most of them.

The forum ended with a statement of the elders and dignitaries of the tribes of the Euphrates region.
