Tabqa-The Committee of Health in Tabqa city takes protective measures against coronavirus which is spreading in many Asian countries and some neighboring countries such as Iraq and Lebanon, in order to prevent the spread of the virus in the region, preserve public health and protect the civilians.
The Committee established a medical point yesterday, Wednesday, at the city’s crossing border to examine citizens coming from outside the regions of self-administration.
Dr. Mohammad Al Issa gave a lecture to the schools’ spokespersons about the virus, how it spreads, methods of prevention, and the symptoms that appear on the virus carrier, at the National Hospital.
The campaign will target all classes of the society in the city and the countryside by holding meetings and giving lectures or distributing leaflets containing general instructions on methods of prevention and the symptoms that appear on the virus carrier.
We have established a medical point in Tabqa cross border and these points are equipped with specialized medical personnel and testing equipment for coronavirus” said Abid Muslem, the co-chair of Health Committee.
He added that the medical teams are trained to deal with any suspected case and confirmed that till today no cases with coronavirus are recorded in Tabqa region.
