The Opening of A Primary School and Honoring The Outstanding Students

Raqqa– After finishing restoration and maintenance work and in the presence of the committee’s presidential body, members, administrators, and teachers, the Committee of Education and Teaching opened today Saturday with a celebration ceremony Abi Tammam primary School in Al Idikhar neighborhood in Raqqa city.

The celebration included musical and theatrical performances and dance, as well as honoring a number of outstanding students.

Ali Mustafa, school spokesman pointed out that the opening came after finishing maintenance and restoration work, as a result of the damage caused to it during the liberation battles, where adequate classrooms were equipped to ease the current congestion in the city’s schools.

He noted that the opening ceremony included musical and theatrical performances that express the current reality of the refugees and dances representing the popular folklore of the Euphrates region.

He concluded that they honored 30 outstanding students and that they hope that the educational process will continue in the right direction in a way that serves the hopes of the parents, generations and educational staff.
