Our forces support the Internal Security Forces in maintaining security in Raqqa

In conjunction with Raqqa’s people preparations for Eid al-Fitr, our forces conducted a deployment in Raqqa city and its environs in order to support Internal Security Forces in enhancing security and thwarting all threats posed by Daesh cells and other parties including Damascus regime and Turkey.
In recent days, the Special Units affiliated to our forces have conducted a series of sweep operations targeting the dens of Daesh terrorist cells in the city in addition to other operations targeting mercenaries linked to the Turkish occupation and Damascus regime during which 10 members were arrested and a quantity of explosives and weapons along with documents were seized.
