The SDF Special Units have arrested a terrorist affiliated with Daesh terrorist cell in Jadeed Akedat, the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. The arrested terrorist was responsible for smuggling and transporting Daesh terrorists, raising funds, securing weapons and ammunition for the sleeper cells aimed at destabilizing the security in the region, and targeting innocent civilians and security and military forces.
Weapons and equipment were confiscated during the operation enabled by the coalition’s air surveillance.
