Statement Regarding the Turkish Massacre in Ain Issa

To Media and Public Opinion.
The Turkish occupation added a new crime to its serial violations against our people in the north and eastern Syria.
The shelling of al-Safawia village, Ain Issa eastern countryside, crowded with civilians and displaced from Tal Abyad, caused the martyrdom of four civilians from the same family, including three children.
This heinous crime underscores the persistence of Turkey on escalation and the continued displacement of the indigenous population from their areas to create an enabling climate to further incursion and occupation of Syrian territory, with a blatant violation of previous agreements with the international stakeholders, primarily Russia and the United States.

We condemn this crime and offer our condolences to the victim’s family and our people.
We call on the Russian guarantor to shoulder his responsibilities and stop Turkish violations. We assert our right to legitimate self-defense and protect our people and regions against such attacks.
We call on the international community and human rights organizations to watch the dark catalog of the Turkish State and its mercenaries concerning human rights in the occupied territories and bring the perpetrators to the international tribunals.
