The commander the Deir Ezzor Military Council, Abu Khawla, confirmed that SDF forces are prepared to repel any attack against the region of NE Syria , whether it is from Turkish occupation or other groups .
” We are fully aware of Turkish occupation ambitions in Syria generally and NE Syria in particular, where it aims to revive the dreams of Othman Empire ” Abu Khawla said.
Abu Khawla stated that the SDF forces have prepared thousands of its fighters to repel the attacks and defend the region.
” Despite the security operations against ISIS cells in different areas , yet our SDF \ remain committed to continue its tasks and in full readiness to repel attacks to maintain security and stability of NE Syria ” he added .
Abu Khawla also spoke about the continuing coordination between the SDF forces and the Syrian Armey to repel any attack that could hit the sovereignty of Syria.
“Although there are disagreements with the Syrian government in some files, but we are ready to cooperate and coordinate to thwart attacks targeting the Syrian territory” he said .
At the end, the commander of Deir Ezzor Military Council said that when
Turkey started
war, it would be a different and long war, and the decision to end it will be in the hands of our forces.
