The Internal Security Forces dismantle a VBIED in the countryside of Tal-Hamis

In a statement released on September 22nd, the Internal Security Forces (ISF) announced that they have got information about a VBIED being prepared in a farm in the al-Qayrawan village, Tal-Hamis countryside.

According to the statement, The ISF has conducted a joint operation with the military forces targeting the farm where the VBIED is being prepared.
“Our ISF engineering units have dismantled a tank filled with 200 kg of high explosives,” the statement added.
It’s worth to mention that the ISF thwarted yesterday an attempted terrorist attack on the al-Hol camp using two VBIEDs, defusing the first one while the other was detonated by the terrorist cell.
