In the presence of a large number of SDF fighters, a new self-defense course graduated yesterday from Martyr Shervan Qamishlo Academy.
The graduate course included 240 fighters, entitled “Martyr Eid Hamid Jumma”, and lasted for two months, during which the fighters received political lessons in addition to intensive military training on various types of weapons.
The graduation ceremony started with a minute of silence in tribute to the souls of the martyrs, followed by a speech delivered by the spokesman of the Self-defense forces, Yousef Kocher, in which he congratulated all fighters for completing the training course successfully, and stressed the need to put the training they received into practice in order to be ready for joining their fellow fighters in the front lines.
