On September 30th, the Deir Ezzor Military Council bid farewell to Marty Ali al-Mousa in the town of Abu Khashab, the western countryside of Deir Ezzor.
The funeral ceremony which began with a minute of silence in tribute to the souls of the martyrs was attended by the Martyrs’ Families Foundation, officials from the Deir Ezzor Military Council, the Internal Security Forces, and hundreds of Deir Ezzor residents.
The commander of the Deir Ezzor Military Council Demhat Al-Klezi delivered a speech in which he pointed out the great role of the martyrs throughout the history of people and societies.
“Thanks to their great sacrifices, we enjoy safety and stability,” Demhat said.
At the end of the funeral ceremony, the document of the martyr was read and given to his family amid chantings glorifying the martyrdom.
