“My injury increased my resolve,” the fighter Hussein Eid Al-Aziz

Hussein Eid Al-Aziz, an SDF fighter from Deir Ezzor, has lived his childhood with his father, who relied on his farm to meet his family’s needs.
Upon completing primary school, Hussain started to work with his father on their farm.
When the terrorist organizations entered their area, his family was forced to flee from their home. Hussein revolted against the terrorism that afflicted his region with oppression and injustice. He and a group of revolutionary young men started to resist terrorism by conducting resistance operations targeting leaders and members of the terrorist organization.

When SDF launched the military campaigns against ISIS, he took the initiative to be one of the first fighters who joined its ranks, participating in most of the military operations against ISIS in Raqqa, Manbij, and Deir Ezzor.

When he was in Deir Ezzor countryside, Hussein and three of his comrades were subjected to a mine explosion, resulting in three of his comrades were martyred and Hussain was wounded. He refused to leave the struggle and insisted on continuing the path of struggle despite his injury. My injury increased my resolve and inspired me to continue the struggle against terrorism,” said Hussain.
