Our SDF and the International coalition forces continue the anti-ISIS operation in the region. About five operations have been conducted over the last two weeks.
On December 16, our SDF Counter-terrorism Units, supported by the international coalition forces, arrested one of the ISIS local emirs (leaders) in the al-Kasra district, Deir Ezzor western countryside. The arrested terrorist was responsible for leading the ISIS terrorist cells in the region.
Based on precise intelligence information, our forces raided the house of the terrorist and arrested him, and confiscated documents and communication devices.
