Successful Joint Operation Against ISIS Conducted by Our Forces, the Counter-Terrorism Group (CTG), and the Global Coalition

As part of their joint operations to combat the remnants of ISIS terrorist cells, the SDF Anti-Terrorism Units (YAT), along with the Counter-Terrorism Group (CTG) of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and the International Coalition forces, conducted a successful raid on Saturday. They managed to dismantle an active ISIS terrorist cell, which consisted of four terrorists who were responsible for supporting and providing the terrorist cells with weapons and military equipment.

The units and their partner forces raided the hideouts of the cell members in the town of Markada, south of al-Hasaka, arrested them, and confiscated a number of weapons, technical equipment, communication devices, various, and documents proofing their relations and association with ISIS.
SDF forces affirm that they are committed to continuing their joint tasks with partners in the region, pursuing the remnants of ISIS, and maintaining security and stability in the region.
