Turkish Intelligence Declare Responsibility for a Terrorist Operation Carried out by ISIS in Tabqa

In a statement released yesterday morning, Turkish state media reported an assassination operation conducted by Turkish intelligence targeting a civilian, Omar Muhammad/Abdullah Aldaham, from Tabqa city in north and eastern Syria, claiming that he was collaborating with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and participating in operations against occupying forces.

Four months earlier, on August 5th, ISIS declared responsibility for the same assassination in an official statement through its propaganda agency “Amaq”. Reputable media outlets initially reported the news based on information attributed to the Amaq agency.

Turkish intelligence declaring their responsibility for the assassination indicates their clear collaboration with ISIS, aiming to disrupt the security and stability of the region and expose their alternating roles in targeting the civilian population.

We, the SDF Media Centre, emphasize that the targeted civilian, Omar Muhammad/Abdullah Aldaham, has no affiliation with our forces and has not engaged in any military activities.
