On Wednesday at 12:30 pm, an armed terrorist group attacked an administrative office of the Raqqa Military Council in the Dariyah neighborhood, west of Raqqa. Two security personnel were martyred and a civilian was injured in the attack.
Our forces pursued the attackers. One suspected terrorist was injured and apprehended. The search for the remaining members of the terrorist group is ongoing.
Initial investigations suggest that ISIS terrorist cells were likely behind the terrorist attack.
