On July 15, our SDF’s Anti-Terrorism Units YAT conducted a successful security operation with the participation and support of the international coalition forces. The operation targeted an ISIS terrorist cell consisting of three terrorists including a senior leader in al-Suar town, Deir Ezzor eastern countryside.
The terrorist cell was responsible for terrorist attacks targeting military and civilian associations in the region with an aim to destabilize security.
The operation resulted in dismantling the terrorist cell, capturing the three terrorists including the leader, and seizing the following:
-Smartphones /5/
-Ak-47 /2/
-Aks /1/
-Pistol /1/
-Grenade /1/
-Ak-47 magazines /16/
-Quivers /3/
Our anti-ISIS operations will continue until achieving the enduring defeat of ISIS.
