Joint Anti-ISIS Operation | An ISIS Terrorist Cell Dismantled Two Terrorists Captured in al-Shaddadi

On August 23, our SDF’s Military Operations Teams TOL conducted a joint security operation with the support and participation of International Coalition forces in the town of Safian, al-Shaddadi district, southeastern Hasakah. The operation targeted an ISIS terrorist cell responsible for several terrorist acts in the region.

At approximately 3:00 a.m., the joint forces raided where the terrorist cell was hiding and successfully captured two ISIS operatives, Issa Mohamed Has’has aka Abu Hamza, and Abdullah Mohamed Has’has aka Abu Omar. During the operation, our forces seized the following:

-Ak-47 rifle /2/

-Ak-47 magazines /11/

-Pistols /2/

-Pistols magazines /4/

-Mauser rifle /1/

-Military daggers

-Combat Knives /4/

Our forces reiterate their commitment to continue the joint security operations against ISIS remnants in the region.
