Tal al-Samin IDP Camp, Every Displaced Individual Has a Story to be Narrated

The “Tal al-Samin” IDP camp, situated approximately 25 kilometers north of Raqqa, provides refuge for forcibly displaced individuals from Gire Spi/Tal Abyad and the surrounding villages. These displaced individuals have endured numerous hardships, with the most recent and prolonged displacement occurring in October 2019, when the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries occupied Tal Abyad.

Yearning for their homeland, many displaced persons fondly recall their lives in their villages. Under the protection of the Syrian Democratic Forces, they maintain hope for a swift return.

In this short video, some displaced people talk about their suffering from ISIS and Turkish occupation and express a strong desire to return to their former homes.
