As part of a series of meetings with its military councils and factions, our SDF General Command convened a meeting on Tuesday with the commanders and members of the Revolutionaries Army and the Democratic North Brigade.
The meeting was attended by our SDF Commander-in-Chief, Mazloum Abdi, members of our SDF General Command, Suzdar Derik, and Chiya Kobani, along with the commanders and members of Revolutionaries Army and the Democratic North Brigade.
During the meeting, our SDF Commander-in-Chief focused on the situation in Idlib and other occupied areas of northwestern Syria, reaffirming the Syrian Democratic Forces’ commitment to providing all forms of support and assistance to displaced peoples from these regions.
Moreover, our Commander-in-Chief emphasized that a comprehensive Syrian political solution, achieved through dialogue and understanding among national and democratic forces, is essential to resolving the ongoing issues in Syria. He expressed openness to dialogue with all national parties in Idlib and all Syrian patriotic forces dedicated to the unity of Syrian territory.
Our SDF General Command also discussed the overall military situation with the commanders and members of the Revolutionaries Army and the Democratic North Brigade, addressing the challenges they face, particularly on the north and eastern Syrian fronts. The meeting explored potential solutions to overcome these difficulties and enhance the military capabilities.
At the end of the meeting, the commanders and members of the Revolutionaries Army and the Democratic North Brigade presented their work reports to our SDF General Command, outlining their requirements and proposals for improving the military readiness of their forces. They expressed their preparedness to defend the region against any aggression.
